<Pryoidain> Wine has been trying to emulate windows on linux for over 15 years, thats 15 years of dedicated coding on an operating system that had already been pre-created ((Linux))
<Pryoidain> additionally wine works heavily with ReactOS which has been just trying to DUPLICATE windows for about 10 years now
<Pryoidain> so with 10 years of combined development from two projects devoted entirely to the cause on a pre existing OS they've got a 50% success rate.
<Pryoidain> To my knowledge there is no Mac Emulation out there execpt QEMU's PowerPC emulation and even that is just a Mac9 virtual machine, if you're talking OSX you're talking reverse engineering something back to freebsd, then getting freebsd emulation on your system, so thats two oses.
<Pryoidain> and lets not forget it took linus a year of 10 hour a day coding to produce linux 0.1 which was a horrible horrible shell of a thing
<Pryoidain> so in summary, if you start now, and work 10 hours a day, 365 days a year, non stop, on an entirely proprietary design, with no help from anyone, and having no one to help you port code over to, then in 50 years or so you might be able to get Solitare to run properly.
